Unfortunately, due to CA’s backwards rules—can enthusiasts in the Golden State may never get it easy. Even the hipsters in Pike’s Place in WA get it right—since 2020 the state is no longer doing emissions testing. Even before then, vehicles 25-years and older were already exempt in the land or rain, salmon, and coffee.
